Privacy & Terms

Data collected
No registration is required to use this application. The following data is collected or stored:
- Ratings and text reviews are stored in Google Firebase Firestore. Each submission is linked to an anonymous Firebase Auth UID — a randomly generated identifier assigned per device that cannot be used to identify you.
- Problem reports submitted through the app are stored in Firebase Firestore alongside your anonymous UID and the reason selected.

Review likes are stored exclusively in your browser's
localStorageand are never transmitted to any server. - Location data is requested only if you activate the "locate me" function. It is processed locally within your browser to display your position and calculate distances. It is not stored or transmitted.
Third-party services
- OpenStreetMap — toilet location data is sourced from OpenStreetMap, licensed under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). © OpenStreetMap contributors.
- MapTiler — map tile rendering. Requests to MapTiler servers include your IP address and the tile coordinates being viewed. See the MapTiler privacy policy.
- Google Firebase (Firestore & Authentication) — anonymous authentication and data storage for ratings, reviews, and reports. Google processes this data under its Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — the Inter typeface is served from Google Fonts. Loading the page sends your IP address to Google. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies and local storage
No cookies are set by this application. localStorage is used
to store your ratings, review likes, and a rate-limit timestamp that
prevents duplicate problem reports. This data can be cleared at any time
through your browser settings.
GDPR
The anonymous Firebase UID is the only remotely stored identifier. As it is a randomly generated string that cannot be linked to your identity without information we do not hold, it does not constitute personal data under GDPR Article 4(1).

Terms of use
This application is provided free of charge, without warranty of any kind. Toilet location data originates from OpenStreetMap contributors and may not be complete or current. If you identify an error, please use the in-app reporting feature or edit the source record on openstreetmap.org.
Automated scraping of map data or any use that places excessive load on the underlying services (MapTiler, Firebase) is not permitted.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the updated date above. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
